| Julie is a
23 year-old Marketing Coordinator, currently
living in Redmond, Washington. Grant
is a 23 year-old Software Engineer, currently
living in Redmond, Washington.
HOW THEY
MET: "Grant and Julie met in band class
in 7th grade at Rose Hill Junior High. At this
time they weren't really friends because Grant
made fun of Julie's hairstyle. In 11th grade at
Lake Washington High School, they sat by each
other in Ms. Terry's chemistry class. They were
always laughing and talking with each other.
Their friendship lasted throughout the summer
before their senior year. During their senior
year in high school, they began to go on dates.
Their first date was to the Puyallup fair with
Julie's younger brother chaperoning of course!
After that, they went on several dates, to
homecoming, mistletolo and prom. They both
graduated in 1995 and went to the University of
Washington. During the winter break of their
junior year, Grant asked Julie to marry him. The
both graduated from UW in 1999 and the rest is
history!"
Their
engagement was announced on January 01, 1998.
HOW THEY
GOT ENGAGED: "On December 29, 1997,
Grant sneaked into Julie's house at 3:00am and
woke her up. He got down on one knee and popped
the question."
Their
wedding date is set for July 15, 2000. Their
wedding will take place at Holy Spirit Lutheran
Church in Kirkland, WA. Their reception will be
held at China Harbor--Lake Union.
